Hi, I'm Tube Fed Ted. But you can just call me Ted!
I'm a curious, adventure-loving bear who happens to be tube fed too.
I know that tube feeding can sometimes feel a little different, especially when you're just starting out.
There can be lots of new things to learn, questions to ask and emotions along the way. That's why I'm here.
I'm the friendly face of the Talking Tube Feeding community, created to help children and families feel supported, understood and connected. Like many of the children in our community, tube feeding is part of my everyday life. It helps me get the nutrition I need so I can grow, learn, play and have adventures.
You'll often find me sharing my favourite recipes, trying new activities, celebrating milestones and joining community events. Sometimes I'll be helping answer common questions, and other times I'll simply be there to remind you that nobody has to navigate their tube feeding journey alone!
Most importantly, I'm here to celebrate the little things.
The first time trying a new recipe. Feeling confident enough to ask a question. Meeting another family who understands exactly what you're going through.
Because every achievement matters, no matter how big or small.
Whether you're a child, parent, carer, family member or healthcare professional, I hope I can help make tube feeding feel a little more familiar, a little more positive and a lot less lonely.
So come along and join me. We’ll share stories, celebrate wins, learn together and build a community where everyone feels welcome.
I'm Ted, and you’ll be seeing a lot more of me!
I'm so glad you're here.
